Amazing pastry, one of the best in Philly!
The bun I got was soft and filled with a sweet & delicious custard. The bread also looked super god so I will be back to get a loaf for sure.

There are several bakeries on this street, KC being one of them. Their standout buns are their Pineapple/Coconut bun and Custard bun. Both are freshly baked and taste awesome. Owner is friendly, and can communicate in English and Mandarin. If you call ahead, they can take orders as they tend to be busy around mid day.

They can do custom bakery if you call ahead of time. Besides cash, I think they also accept Venmo or Zelle as form of payment.

Not the best buns. Actually tastes a bit weird compared to other places in chinatown. The pricing on the signs stating what type of buns they are might be wrong or the cashier doesn't know how to count (I'm going to go with the former). I was overcharged for the two buns seen in the picture. They were suppose to be 1.25 and 1.00 respectively but I was charged 2.75. That being said pricing for certain buns are better at other places and actually taste better. However I do recommend the coconut pineapple bun and I regret not getting that today.

The bread’s texture is not my favorite— it’s not as soft and chewy as I would expect. Additionally the flavors just don’t taste very real or fresh. I tried one kind of red bean bun and their cheese corn bread. I would try another store next time.

Absolutely delicious. I bought an egg custard tart, sesame/red bean bun, large red bean bun, and almond cookies. Everything was 💯. My kids loved the almond cookies and one who doesn’t normally like red bean paste liked the large red bean bun. I’ll be sure to stop here again if I’m ever in Philly in the future. The lady in the shop spoke good English and took credit cards just an FYI.

when i tell you that they have the SOFTEST bread ever… girl. i love this bakery so much. i don’t come down to philly as much anymore but when i do i make sure to stop have and get some bread and pastries. super yummy. the people working there are super friendly too.

Was in the area for the New Year parade and tried to get some bbq pork buns but they were already sold out so I got some red bean buns which were the best I’ve ever had - so soft and fresh with a nice layer of the red bean paste throughout. Will definitely be giving them my business in the future!
