I've taken our now 10yr old son here since 2016ish with no problems, our older daughter has been seen here for almost as long and loves the office.
All the kids go back by themselves confidently.
Our younger son is 3 and has had his first three visits here with no trouble. The staff is amazing at what they do.
The team is also very good at communicating with us for fillings, concerns or planning ahead for the next visit.
I've always had nice staff to communicate with and Dr Kricket has always been kind also.

I came from another dentist office for a second opinion with my daughter, they were very patient and understanding and explained everything to her during the process. She said she loved it there and we will continue to use them in the future 🙂 already scheduled appts for my other kiddos to be seen too! I'd recommend them to everyone 🙂

We recently took our 4 year old son to Dr. Kricket Young to get some dental work done and it was a terrible experience. We didn’t even get any of his dental work done because we left the appointment with him shaking and in tears. In our strong opinion, they are not properly set up to care/treat young kids that need things to be explained and shown to them to make them more comfortable. They were aggressive and not patient with our son, had no intentions of making a nervous child more at ease and unfortunately left a very bad taste in his mouth with going to the dentist. Please go somewhere else for your child’s dental work!

Honestly cannot believe this place is still in business. My son had a treatment plan, first appointments were extremely hard on him, I thought it was all just nerves. I could hear him screaming from the lobby, but I was told he could “only feel pressure” They used gas on him, which seemed to help calm him down.
I started going back with him - he told me it wasn’t just anxiety, that it was extremely painful. As soon as they brought the mask out, full panic started. They downplayed his emotions and feelings. They held him down while they numbed him. “I’m just going to take a look” she has said. Then pulled a tooth and spacer immediately after. I’m not a professional, but I know it takes a few minutes to achieve numbing.
I feel guilty for taking him after the first bad experience. I should’ve listened to my gut. They move kids through like cattle. Time is money for them and that’s all they care about. Don’t take your littles here- they will likely be traumatized for life, and be terrified of dentists for the rest of their life.

genuinely traumatized me when i was a little girl, they got mad at me for crying and for laughing.
when I cracked a tooth and it had to be pulled out.. they didn’t give me enough numbing and i cried and cried and ended up passing out, did not wake up until it was time for school the next day.
I wish i was being dramatic about this, but i am not. no child should go through that.

I've been to their office for years with my children. I've heard people's horrible stories but never switched because we never had a problem until recently. First they can't get there insurance straight after I gave them a updated card. Then my son recently got a filling. When we got home he found a tooth wedge left between his teeth. He removed it but apparently it broke because a week later his dr removed a sliver of plastic that was embedded into his gums causing a infection. Will not be coming back.

Since this was the only children’s dentist our insurance covered, I was forced to go here for most of my youth. When I finally went to a REAL DENTIST, they discovered I had a total of 18 EASILY recognizable cavities. The dentists also have little care for comfort, I remember how much I hated the mouthpiece. It felt like it was locked as high as it could go without ripping my jaw off. It was sore after every visit. If you take your child here, I implore you to get a check-up at another office. These people usher kids in and out as quickly as they can and set them up for failure in the future.

Dr. Kricket and her staff work very well with children. My 5 year old was scared of the dentist due to a prior experience elsewhere. After coming to Pediatric Dentistry just once, she went home and told her siblings how she liked it and wanted to go back. It is well worth the 4 hr drive. I would recommend Dr. Kricket to anyone with children as her office does a phenomenal job!
