Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Local coffee shop using locally roasted coffee that is literally roasted down the road. She also makes scratch baked treats. You really cant go wrong.
When its hot, I enjoy an iced latte or a tropical sunrise custom red bull. As it cools down, I look forward to all things pumpkin. They even bake persimmon goodies.

Such a cute little place! Love the looks of the front of the store, the inside looks amazing as well. My coffee was great as well! An iced latte with maple bourbon pecan syrup, fantastic! The girls up front were really nice as well. Overall: impressed!

Sarah made my cake last night for my wedding. Working with her was wonderful. We initially commissioned her prior to the pandemic, and unfortunately had to postpone our wedding a whole year, but she still had our notes and requests, and all we had to do was confirm with her we were still on. The cake she made was BEAUTIFUL. We requested almond cake with almond icing, and it was absolutely delicious. We also requested a marble effect for the design, and we provided the flowers to decorate thr cake. Everyone said that the cake was gorgeous. Honestly, it was gorgeous. I wish I had time to take pictures, but I was too busy having a fantastic time. If you want a gorgeous and delicious cake, definitely check out The Mix!!

If you want a custom made cake of any sort, THE MIX is the place to go!! I've been buying cakes, cupcakes, and all sorts of treats from the before they opened the new shop in Mitchell.

I love their new place, it's so quaint but stylish in its own way. The staff there is super friendly and always smiling.

They have a limited number of items they bake each day so I would recommend you getting there early so you have the best selection. They also have a good selection of coffee to choose from. Oh and one last thing if they don't have it on there menu don't hesitate to ask, they bake all sorts of goodies for birthday parties, weddings, events, etc...

The Mix provided the cake for my daughters wedding 2/27/21, which was wonderful! We have used them for other events and have NEVER been disappointed!! Their cake is fantastic!! We received tons of compliments!! Thank you again ladies!

We've been doing the farmer's market in Orleans on & off all summer & just found this place yesterday. I got the vanilla matcha latte with oatmilk (in the pic) & a puff pastry stuffed with egg & bacon. My husband got a cinnamon roll & I can't remember the coffee, but everything was so phenomenal we stopped again, on the same day, once we packed up from the market. We both tried different drinks & were very happy with them as well. I got a maple pumpkin while he got a caramel apple frappe & I think he considered divorcing me for the barista. I WILL stop here anytime I'm near Mitchell. What a find!!

Absolutely wonderful staff, creative, and flexible. The Mix made a special birthday cake last week for an event and it could not have been any better. The cupcakes and cookies were literally the "icing" on the cake.

My granddaughters 1st birthday cake came from The Mix.First time order. The fondant is not a favorite of mine usually taste like playdo. This was delicious I reccomend this place.Cake was moist and texture was good!!
