Stepping into Rusty’s is like stepping into a time capsule from the 1980s. The moment you walk through the door, you’re enveloped in a world that feels like a retro movie set. The color palette bold, vibrant neons and pastels, immediately transports you back in time, while the walls are adorned with classic movie posters from iconic '80s films. Overhead, a TV plays old-school music videos, filling the air with the tunes that defined a generation. It’s more than just an ice cream shop; it’s an immersive trip back to a time when everything seemed larger than life, nostalgic in the best possible way.

I decided to keep it simple with my order, opting for a scoop of chocolate ice cream topped with pecans. Sometimes, simplicity is where the magic lies, and this was no exception. The ice cream was perfectly creamy, rich with a sweet chocolate flavor that wasn't too overpowering. Each bite had a velvety smoothness that melted in my mouth, but what truly elevated it was the pecans. Their salty, slightly crunchy texture balanced the sweetness of the chocolate in the most delightful way, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. It was like a dance of salty and sweet on my palate, the perfect pairing.

Rusty’s isn’t just about the ice cream; it’s about the feeling it creates. It’s a place where the past feels present, where you can indulge in something sweet while being surrounded by the vibrant energy of the '80s. It’s a spot that not only satisfies your sweet tooth but also gives you a sense of joy and nostalgia with every scoop.

Was celebrating my birthday and went with a friend for the first time. Both of us went to middle school and or High School in the 80s. I was definitely in the first MTV generation. I just heard of this place last week and thought it would be fun. It really was lots of fun! I had Cherry ice cream but I don't think that was the official name. What I liked the most about the place was the 80s memorabilia and 80s music. I will bring quarters the next time for the Jukebox. Rusty joined us in an informal game of 80s trivial pursuit. He was fun and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who is most formative years were in the 80s or anyone who just loves 80s pop culture.

What a great place! The Delorian and Ghostbuster’s car out front tonight were an unexpected treat! Got to meet and talk to the owner of the Back to the Future Delorian car you can rent for events. He’s driving it in the Three Rivers Festival tomorrow morning but had it at Rusty’s all evening. Got to hear the story of how it came to be a business and where he got the car.

The 80’s movie and music theme combined with great ice cream was amazing. I’m shocked I’ve never heard of it - although I live on the other side of town. Can’t wait to bring our kids back here! Even the bathroom was decorated really tubular with Jenny’s phone number. We will be back - and you should go try it too.

The ice cream is nothing to write home about its ice cream. The place itself is very nostalgic and definitely wouldn't take any young (toddler age) children to this place they have tons of candy down within reach, and board games. The employees acted like they didn't even want to be there. I absolutely loved the ice cream spoons they changed colors and I kept mine. Lol the shop itself is cool looking, and definitely brings me back, but they need to update the ice cream, put the candy behind a case and maybe even the games even if it's where older people can access them. Then this place would definitely deserve a 5 star rating that they almost have. The owner is on the right track though. The prices are also higher than most shops in the area. I would also do some research on the local prices.

Had an amazing, nostalgic experience here with my husband for my 55th birthday! Plus there's incredible ice cream treats!! The serving staff were so friendly and helpful! If you are an 80's fan, this place is a treasure trove of memorabilia!!

First time stopping in at Rusty’s, and it was great! The ice cream is as good as any, and the venue itself is a great homage to bygone eras of ice cream parlors and the like. Would definitely come back again and again!

Rusty's is AMAZING! They have a huge menu with something for everyone. They have dairy free oat milk vanilla ice cream which is perfect for those like me who have a lactose allergy. I got an egg nog shake and it was fantastic. Each flavor is cleverly named after an old tv show character, band, or song. They have classic games like Chutes and Ladders and Candy Land that guests can play while they enjoy their tasty frozen treats. A fully functioning jukebox is posted up in the corner where guests can select musical classics while they enjoy their frozen treats. If you're feeling extra competitive you can drop a quarter into their old school arcade game and shoot for a high score! I highly recommend Rusty's and look forward to filling my punch card for a free dessert!

LOVE it! Great nostalgic shop. Fun and delicious ice cream (we tried shakes and sundaes). My family and I went...and went again for the second time in a week. Definitely recommend for the young...and young at heart ❤
