Stopped in here for lunch with a tour group, it was “recommended “ by the tour guide. The place was empty when we arrived around 3pm. There were about 20 of us and we were all seated in the main dining room which is pretty small so it was crowded.

Ordered the traditional menu. The soup was good. The pork was tender and skin crisp but tasted like it had been braising for a while so the meat was shredding rather than maintaining its texture. Dessert was a flan and a tart which was OK.

I think a separate dinner for a smaller group might have been better. This lunch felt like a rushed buffet in a cafeteria.

Stopped in for lunch with our tour group and the suckling pig is hands down much more delicious than at Restaurante Botin in Madrid! Beautiful shaded garden and great service. A must try!

Muñoz is a charming old tavern of Segovia which preserved its specific architecture and the regional style. To be noted that this restaurant opens at 11am until late at night. Allowing tourists from all over to eat at a hour of their choice. I didn't felt it was a tourist trap and the prices were adequate with what we have seen in the downtown. I recommend maybe to eat like Spaniards do in Spain. Take a different dish and share it with your table. The dishes portions are big and generous. Quality of food is also nice. A diversity in the menu. We fell for the alubias and the regional soup. Everything was tasty though a little bit salty (due to meat and Spaniards habits to put a lot of salt in their dish). I really loved everything. Good value for your money.

Restaurant was quiet at 5pm offered us any seat of our choice since was so quiet. The waiter was helpful and gave us wifi to aid in communication. As for the food, it was great! The filet of sea bass was grilled to perfection! The peppers that came with the sea bass was a tasty surprise. The roast pork was perfect! The meat was tender and stayed moist throughout! The skin was crisp but with a slight chew.

Would absolutely recommend!

We came to this restaurant for an early dinner when most places started closing at 5pm (only to open later at 8pm), as they stay open. They have 2 restaurants of the same name owned by the same owner. They keep 1 open all of the time. We had their special for starter/main/dessert which included wine or beer and water. The food was delicious, portions were generous and it was great value. Service was 10/10 mostly because we came during a quiet time, so all the attention was on us. I highly recommend. We had the beans and salad (me and my husband shared both starters), the sucking pig (so moist) and dessert was ice cream/cheesecake.

So delicious. Generous portions, soup with clams is amazing. Lamb chops is tender and crispy, potatoes very crispy.

The suckling pig is amazing. So crispy and delicious. Haven’t had pork this good for years!! Great ambiance and service. Amazing find.

Saw the advertisement for the restaurant near Plaza Mayor and stumbled on it just when we felt hungry. Lucky that we gave it a try, the food were delicious. Special mentions to the roasted lamb,
the meat was on the saltier side but it goes really well with the potatoes. Loved the environment too, it is in a rather quite place in town.

Our favorite part was our server Caesar. Columbiano y muy amable. He made my mom laugh, was attentive , helpful and patient when trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. Thanks for a lovely last evening in Segovia!
