It truly is a great place. I ate chipirpnes with delicous yellow sweet potatoes fries and I had a beef/goat smash burger, with bacon jam and roasted goat cheese. Brioche, mayo, sauces are house made. It is an absolutely delicous food, fresh, properly made, prepared with care and nice twists, it will fit every diet and mood and it still reflects local quisine. After paying your check - make reservation for the next evening.

EDIT: I saw the most 1 star reviews are about working hours and no serving without reservation. We didn't have a reservation (2 people) and we arrived 19:15. We were informed that currently there are no open tables and we can wait at the bar and see if something comes up. We waited around 30 min, had two beers each, we could see what comes on the tables, we could see wines, we could see the stuff is busy preparing freshly made food and managing the place. I had ZERO PROBLEMS with that. I could see other people were coming after us and some of them were indeed sent away because of lack of service ability. Open hours are easy to check online and there were no problems to make a reservation for the next day. I enjoy to see the respect for working hours of the kitchen and no squeezing people for every possible corner, which may effect the service. We had a great food, great service, we come back for more the next day, with a booked table. We came randomly to Majo Picon, and it is the biggest surprise of the Lanzarote for me - I didn't expect such a great food and such a finese of the menu. I love it!

I was there twice in the one week in May 2025, and I had all the vegetarian and vegan tapas options essentially. I was also there twice in Nov. 2022 and I was curious was it still excellent. Well, when it comes to vegan and vegetarian tapas options, it is one of the best again, on the whole island. The other one would be the Restaurante Hesperides in Teguise, 15 mins. away by car. There are the top two for me. In the Majo Picon, I had the bread and a glass of red wine at first on both occasions. The first evening I had (1) the Grilled Goats Cheese with Green and Red Majo, (2) the Canarian Potatoes "Arrugadas with Green and Red Majo, and (3) the Roasted Pumpkin with Walnuts and Palm Honey. On the second evening, I had (1) the Majo Picon style "Papas Bravas" Chips, (2) the Roasted Eggplant with homemade Garlic Mayonnaise, Green Majo, Cumin, Palm Honey, Pickled Onions, Fried Almonds, Sesame Oil and Coriander, and (3) again the Grilled Goats Cheese with Green and Red Majo, (4) the chocolate cake, and (5) an Americano coffee. Every item was delicious and presented excellently. The service and ambiance was great too, as well as the value for money. Highly recommended!!

I loved Majo Picón. The food was in super high quality with great ingredients and buen corazón ❤️‍🔥 The waiting staff was also friendly and nice. I made a mistake on one order but she corrected it without a fuss. All the details of the restaurant was thoroughly thought through, music, design and even paper mat that looked like an old ads in Spain. Definitely worth travelling just for this restaurant.

Simply amazing!Super nice and professional staff and one of the best calamari I ever had, delicious! And considering I came late and the restaurant was quite full it was really fast unlike other places.And good prize!
