We had a reservation and they took us in right away. Food tasted good. The atmosphere was amazing. The service was good. They were busy on a Friday night so a little delay in service but was still good. There was parking right in the front of the restaurant and there is a parking structure on the next street over.

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in,the service was warm and welcoming. A big thank you to the chef for the delicious food, every dish was fool of flavor and beautifully presented . the bar tender also deserves praise for the amazing drinks, perfectly mixed and served with a smile. And I really want to thank the waiter and the entire team for being so friendly, attentive and professional throughout the evening . You all made my visit truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere., I'll definitely be coming back...thank you and you guys are awesome..and I'll give it a 10/10 on my list..

I hadn’t been to Downtown Fullerton since before the pandemic, and Lagos was a really nice surprise. The space is big, modern, and upscale with a great atmosphere, perfect for birthdays, dinner with friends, or even just stopping in for drinks.

The cocktails were excellent and honestly reason enough to come back. The ceviche was the standout dish for me, fresh, flavorful, and perfect with their house-made tortilla chips and salsas. The guacamole was good, though next time I’d probably skip it since the portion I thought there would be a lot more chicharron. The chicken mole with rice and beans was actually very good, rich and satisfying. My brother had the steak tacos and enjoyed them as well.

What I like most about Lagos is that it sort of fills a gap in the area: it’s a moderate to higher-end option for Mexican food in Fullerton, without needing to drive out to Brea or elsewhere. Prices are moderate, the vibe is lively, and the service was solid. Definitely a strong choice if you’re looking for good food and an elevated atmosphere in Downtown Fullerton.

First time here for date night. It was beautiful inside with the decor, and the vibe was very welcoming. The staff is friendly and on point with service. The food was worth the price, and the portions are perfect. I definitely recommend their brussle sprouts with pork belly as an appetizer very tasty. I had the prime rib medium rare, and it was beyond amazing. Their micheladas are so good, along with their margaritas. The fillet mignon on point! I will be back to try more of their delicious food and drinks. Thank you, Lagos Mexican Cuisine, for the experience!!!

Appalling Service at Lagos Mexican Restaurant Bar (Fullerton, CA) - Food Never Arrived
Drinks Late, Food Never Arrived, Total Waste of Time

We visited Lagos Mexican Restaurant Bar in Fullerton, CA and had one of the worst service experiences imaginable.
Our initial round of drinks were extremely slow to arrive. We placed our food order, and after a significant wait, we placed a second drink order, which also never came out.
The staff completely neglected us. Not a single person came to check on our table throughout our entire visit. The worst part is that our food order never materialized at all.
Given the complete lack of service and the fact that we were simply being ignored, we had no choice but to cancel our entire order and leave.
Save your time and money and go elsewhere. The service at this location is atrocious!

We decided to try Lagos after a social media post popped up on Facebook. We went right when it opened so there was no one there on a Friday night yet ;).The inside is really fun. Our server was great and overall it was a wonderful place to try for our 38th anniversary. All of our food choices were very good. The sampler margaritas were delicious and perfect if you want to find a new favorite. They look huge but the 4 equal a small drink. The chips were fresh and salsa great. I had dessert first! They have a dedicated dessert chef and the special was an apple crumble. It was very good. We had the rib eye, sea bass, lobster Mac, mushrooms, and zucchini. All was great. We brought home the chocolate cake and it was to die for (sorry no pic)!!

Beautiful location with great potential! The day I visited, it seemed they were short-staffed, and our waiter was clearly overwhelmed — he forgot a few of our requests, and we had to remind him several times. The margarita flight had a wonderful presentation, but the drinks were a bit too sweet for my taste. I couldn’t finish them and ended up ordering water instead. Overall, a lovely spot that could be even better with a bit more attention to service.
