I was excited to eat at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and chose the Fish and Chips restaurant in the Silver Legacy Resort. Go ahead and try it out of curiosity, but you will be disappointed as was I. I get that we're talking about fried fish, and I love a good fried cod and chips. I ventured to try the shrimp and lobster basket. Meh. Very very greasy, which tells me the oil had not gotten back to temp after the prior order. My batter was under cooked on a piece of lobster. Sauces were too mayo-forward. I expected more zing out of the mango curry sauce, but it was just bland. Fries were OK, but presented under all the greasy fish. I sat at the family style table with 3 young men who were strangers to me. None of us finished our food or tried to take the remainder with us. Oh, and the $5 16oz lemonade was sickeningly sweet. Just skip it.

Wasn't impressed with the food options in the row but some fish and chips sounded good. Unfortunately it was not. The first bite was mainly just raw batter and cold fish. I almost abandoned it at that point, but after a moment I continued. Unfortunately I found the same problem with the chips, slightly browned but hard and cold on the inside. Thankfully though it was only about four chips in the lot that were like that. Most of the rest of the fish was actually cooked except another end piece. The fish part was actually good for the parts that were cooked. Nice moist and tasty, unfortunately the batter it was cooked in wasn't. Just bland and extremely greasy, probably the most greasy fish and chips I have ever had. It had a decent crunch to it but was lacking in both the amount it covered and flavor. There was way too much salt overall and not much flavor. Even the tartar sauce was mainly just mayo with very little taste, so I switched to the lemon instead. The place lacked any decent beverage options. Just sugary drinks and alcohol, no actual unsweetened tea choices. I have gotten better fish and chips off of the back of a rusty truck. This is at most a $5 fish box that they charge $20 for because of the name. The fish itself is good but what is the point of that unless you cook it properly. The place was nice looking, the staff was friendly. I would have liked to have sat there drawing mermaids and enjoying the atmosphere but the box ruined it for me. I'll hit a pub near where I live for some decent fish and chips this week to get the memory of that box out of my head. I unfortunately paid extra for the bad fish box the next day as well, if you know what I mean, first fish and chips I've had that had done that to me. Not sure if it was the undercooked fish or the mayo sauce it had, or possibly the amount of grease.

I am a Gordon Ramsay fan for sure.. I have been to many of his restaurants so when I saw this inside the casino I had to try it. The best part was the shrimp..the lobster was almost raw and really rubbery...the fish was fine but could use more seasoning..the chips were like a C+ but for the 3 of us it was over a $100 which is not a good for what we received. Now I know for next time to skip this place but I still love you Mr. Ramsey ❤️❤️

Great experience the lobster and Shrimp were delicious the chicken was super crunchy and moist. The sticky toffee milkshake was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My family really loved the lightly battered fish and chips. I ordered the dirty fries #1 and were definitely something new I have never experienced before. I would encourage you the next time in Reno to try Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips!!

Pure curiosity led me to visit and try Gordon Ramsey Fish & Chips.......first visit I had the lobster and shrimp box: just ok, a little overly greasy but the chips/fries were good. Second visit I had the fishwich with fixings on the side, much better. Oh and I had the biscoff milkshake: delightful and worth the visit.
