Rooms are really nicely furnished Our patio doors doesn't lock so they put wood the the bottom so no one can't get in screen door has issues

My favorite place to stay in the UP. Right on Lake Superior. Great view from the rooms. I like to stay on the 2nd floor at the south end to get a little distance from the deck. The deck has great sunset views and is right on the water adjacent to Fitzgerald’s which has great food and an excellent beer selection. It’s just about the perfect stay.

Had a birthday overnight extravaganza. Food. Sleep. Repeat. Stayed in the corner suite. Room was lovely. Bed, pillows and linens were perfect. Water was hot AF and shower pressure was good. No complaints. Cracked the window so Superior could sweep us off to slumber with her song. Only ding is no tv in the bedroom but managed to snuggle up on the sofa and veg out after stuffing ourselves stoopid at dinner before retiring to bed. Weather was trash but it didnt matter because the room was so cozy. Catching the aurora from bed would have been a birthday wish come true but we havent seen the sun or clear skies in days. Nothing new and we find the beauty in gray days when you live here. Had the best in room coffee Ive ever had at a hotel, motel, inn followed by a brunch that Ill never forget. Going back to Mqt Co with full bellies and happy hearts.

The Fitzgerald Inn is an amazing place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous and inviting. The walk-in shower is so appreciated. They have so many little amenities that make your stay extra special (i.e. French Press and fresh ground coffee in your kitchen area). It is right on Lake Superior so you can sit and enjoy the sunset while listening to the waves rolling in. The restaurant is wonderful. The owners and all the staff of the hotel and restaurant are great.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. The bar, great drinks and fantastic service. We have never had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant. Looking forward to it though. The view, amazing. The rooms, clean, modern and comfy. It is very clear someone cares about this place. It is small and quaint with great little personal touches. We have been in all seasons and love it every time.....I feel a road trip coming on :)

Now known as Fitzgerald Inn, had awesome food, atmosphere and the location on the lake, especially watching the sunset was all the better. The brisket was one of the best I’ve had.
