Cork Dork is one of the very best restaurants in the Thousand Oaks, CA area. The food and ingredients are hand-picked and farm-fresh; the menu is unique, tasty, and superbly presented, and the decor and atmosphere are high-end and cozy. The staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about wines and specialties. We have eaten there many times and continue to be surprised and delighted! Simply put: a great restaurant! Try it - you won't be sorry. To the contrary, you will be delighted. We are delighted each and every time.

Good but not great and a bit overpriced. Very artfully prepared dishes, but nothing had an amazing taste or flavor. Yellowtail starter was ok, sweet potato gnocchi didn’t have the distinct brown butter taste I was hoping for - probably overpowered by the mushrooms, squash risotto was the best item we ordered. Had been hoping to get the pistachio affogato cake, but it was unavailable so we got the s’mores tart which didn’t look anything like the picture - maybe a different item? The “We don’t have an espresso machine martini” was probably the highlight as it tasted excellent with only their house made espresso syrup - very smooth. The tablet menu is a great idea, but be aware that the menu can change, so what you see on their website may not be what’s available that day. Service and atmosphere were very good. “Outdoor” seating is a tented part of the parking lot, so I was glad we were seated inside.

Me and my bf are foodies. I continually saw Cork Dork on open table so we decided to give it a try. It was PHENOMENAL! While it is a smaller place, it was refreshing to be able to book reservations via open table 15 minutes before 8pm on a Friday night. We got say immediately. The menu is small but complex. We shared an appetizer and both entrees. The street corn risotto and the skirt steak with noodles. Everything was amazing. The portion sizes and flavors were on point!!!! We also ordered dessert. My bf hates chocolate- I ordered the chocolate dessert. It looked so good he tried it- AND LOVED IT! It almost brought me to tears since I am such a huge chocolate lover and was able to share it with him! He also got the lemon dessert- which was fresh and delicious. 10/10 this is one of my new favorite places !!!!!

Chef Danny is always courteous and care for his patrons.
My 8 year old knows there are gifts in store when chef is at your table.

First time dining here and had a great experience. We sat outside and started with the $1 oysters which were great. Our server was great and made good recommendations, the manager also stopped by to introduce himself. The seabass crudo was a great start, light and mild. The smoked salmon toast was delicious with a lot of smoke/salt flavor. The baba chicken was really good with a delicious mix of spices and seasoning. We ended with the bread pudding which was good.
