Dr. Dodson is a rockstar. Our 13-year old daughter had a fully torn ACL and 2 minor meniscus tears. She was very nervous about the surgery and recovery. Our entire experience with Dr. Dodson and the entire Rothman Team was Awesome! It was worth the 2-hr drive for every appointment. Couldn’t recommend them enough. She just got cleared to play sports with no restrictions. Thank you so much Rothman!

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Dodson and the entire staff at Bryn Mawr. At my initial consultation, he did not rush me at all, answered all of my questions, gave me options, explanations, and his recommendations specialized to my specific situation (which other surgeons I consulted with did not.) He is simultaneously brilliant and humble. From that initial consult, to my surgery, to every appointment that followed, I felt like he genuinely cared for me as a patient and human. At a time where I was injured, emotional, and scared, I felt confident that I couldn't be in better hands. 10/10

Dr Dodson is an amazing person who is passionate about orthopedic surgery. He is extremely positive, a brilliant surgeon and exhibits excellent bedside manner. He is so down to earth and caring. It's easy to see why the Philadelphia eagles would choose him as their head surgeon. I am almost 2 weeks post rotator cuff surgery and so thankful that he performed the operation. I like and trust him very much and would recommend him extremely highly. He is the best of the best.

Dr. Dodson is one of the most professional and kind doctors I have ever met. I have left knee pain and a tear in my meniscus and he took the time to discuss all of my options and even helped me to weigh the positives and negatives of each approach. My surgeon Dr. Chris Dodson was amazing. His positive energy and experience with medial meniscus tears eased my mind and my concern of having the surgery. I was in a lot of pain before and nervous before the surgery. When we consulted, he said this needed quick attention so that it would not get worse and he quickly scheduled my surgery the very next week with his very tight schedule. His instructions before the surgery were great, his team was great and right before the surgery he again put my mind at ease, reviewed everything and before I knew it the surgery was over. The follow up was great as well and the therapy! Thank you Dr. Dodson and team!

Dr. Dodson is an exceptional doctor! We only wanted “the best” for our daughter’s knee surgery. After meeting Dr. Dodson, we knew we surely found THE BEST. His calm nature was very reassuring during a difficult time for us. His knowledge and expertise was fully apparent from the start and throughout the long recovery process. Dr. Dodson’s plan of care was clear, concise and comprehensive. He took his time and explained everything to us in a very thorough manner. The only good part of our daughter’s surgery was knowing we had the best doctor at the helm. We trusted him fully! His staff was equally as wonderful. Their responses to our calls and questions were very quick and efficient. We always felt well cared for.
We will forever feel indebted to Dr. Dodson for caring for our daughter in such an exceptional manner. We just can’t say good things about Dr. Dodson and his team. We feel so very grateful to have found him!

Dr. Dodson came highly recommended. Every time I asked someone about a good knee surgeon, Dr. Dodson’s name came up. I can say from first hand, he lived up to his reputation!!! I was so nervous about my knee surgery but it was a breeze. I literally had no pain after surgery. After two days I didn’t need the crutches or any pain medicine. Dr. Dodson works miracles. He certainly lived up to his reputation. I would choose Dr. Dodson again!!!

I had a large bucket handle tear of my lateral meniscus. I wasn’t able to straighten my leg, walk or go without pain for just under three weeks. When I had my first visit with Dr. Dodson, he walked me through the MRI results/findings and explained to me what happened in my knee. He was down to earth, leveled with me and most of all gave me excellent care. He recommended surgery to repair my meniscus. Before the surgery he visited me in the pre-op room, checked in with me, asked if I had any questions and made sure I was ready . (HE TOOK THE TIME TO CARE!). During surgery, he made a professional decision to cut out part of my meniscus as the damage was too great and might have re-torn within a year. The next day after surgery I was going to PT. I was walking without the assistance of crutches within three days after surgery. Currently now going on 4 weeks after surgery and the results speak for themselves. I’m back to doing activities that I like, back to walking around and most of all I’m back to normalcy. Dr. Dodson is such an awesome and extremely skilled physician. I highly recommend him!!!
