I received beyond great service at The Yorktown store’s Tire Department. I just bought a used Porsche 911 and needed new tires on it ASAP. There were scheduling issues the first time I went, and the second time I forgot the locking hub key. By this time Carlos had given me his personal cell # to expedite things. I asked for an earlier appointment and Carlos did it for me (ON HIS DAY OFF FROM HIS PERSONAL #) with Joe and Junior. I got put in today and got 4 beautiful new Michelins in 1 hour - AND FOR $250 less than Mavis’ Quote…..There are GREAT staff at the Yorktown BJ’s Tire, and don’t let anyone tell you differently.

Very disappointing customer service.

I went to this store to purchase a TV and was also interested in buying a sound system. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating. The manager, Lourdes, said she was going to get a remote and disconnect the sound system so we could test it—but she left us waiting for over 20 minutes with no update or return.

After getting tired of waiting, my husband and I went to the register to pay for the TV, and we saw Lourdes casually chatting with a cashier instead of assisting us. To make matters worse, she said loudly, “They have to pay the price that’s on the tag,” in a disrespectful tone—as if we didn’t know what we were buying.

This level of service is unacceptable, especially coming from a store manager. Customers come in ready to spend their hard-earned money and expect to be treated with respect and basic professionalism. Sadly, this experience made it clear that the customer is not valued here.

This is coming from a Costco snob. There was a time I'd only step into a BJ's because a family member had membership and I reluctantly followed. That is, until I moved where one was located 7 minutes from my house. It started with the cheap gas conveniently located minutes from my house. Then the produce that came in human sized portions that I could consume before it spoiled. Finally I discovered ridiculous ways to save via coupons, store specials, scan as you go while buying, and so many other shopper conveniences. I begrudgingly started enjoying trips to BJ's because they made getting in and out of the store so effortless. Sometimes I feel like I'm cheating on my true love Costco by shopping at BJ's. But then I quickly get over it when I can finish my shopping without dealing with the massive pile up of lines encountered at my love's place. BJ's doesn't keep me waiting to leave baby!

This weekend, on Saturday afternoon I visited my local BJ'S. At 3303 Crompond Rd, in Yorktown Heights, NY 10598. I went into the store to get a couple of things. I made my purchase like usual and checked out. When I was about to leave the store, it started to pour with heavy rain. So, I proceeded to wait by the exit. Waiting for the rain to pass. As the time went by people started to accumulate by the exit, as well. Staff members were trying to move people around, and away from the door. Soon after that, the store manager named Francisco. Started yelling and screaming at everyone. Saying that people needed to leave, even though it was pouring rain. Insisting that we all purchase store umbrellas that they sell. Keep in mind there was no new customers coming in by the doors. He stated that if we were so worried about getting rained on to buy umbrellas. Many elderly people and children were refusing to leave. So, Francisco decided to pull the fire alarm, to evacuate the whole building. This forced everyone to leave the store. I feel like Francisco was very unprofessional to be a manager. There were many elderly people, and mothers with children in strollers he was yelling at, in a disrespectful manner. The situation could have been handled in a better, and more calm matter. The administration of BJ's should take matter over this antisocial individual.

Just left yorktown BJs empty handed after watching the deli guy WIPE HIS NOSE WITH HIS GLOVED HANDS WHILE SLICING CHEESE FOR 3 SEPARATE CUSTOMERS!!!!!!! I advised a manager who said he should change his gloves and she will address that. I pointed out that not wiping his nose while slicing food is a better option, but glove changes should be mandatory.
