Our waitress, Alliyah, was fantastic. She explained the menu and gave recommendations. We had the dumplings as the appetizer and then the pork leg Kara kara.... this is a shareable meal for sure. The flavors were amazing the pork was juicy tender flavorful and the skin was crispy and has so much flavor. Wonderful experience.

This was my first time trying Baryo, and I was not disappointed! Usually I don’t take the time to leave a review, but this place has great food, attentive staff, quick ticket times, is clean, cute, and was still empty at 5:30 in the evening. I was surprised, and THAT was the only disappointing part about the experience.
Maybe Muncie residents just don’t know about how great Filipino food is; but if you’re considering giving a new restaurant or new cuisine a try, it’s a safe bet that you’ll find something that you can enjoy at Baryo.

The food was really delicious I loved it! The food portions were on point I was full when I left. There are plenty of food options to choose from. The environment was friendly and welcoming I definitely highly recommend trying it out you will not be disappointed!

The plate of Pancit was plentiful, and pricing worth the quantity. The pork Adobo was perfectly soft, and melted in my mouth. The fried rice was a bit strange.

This is probably the best place to eat in Muncie, I have never had such rich flavorful food. It’s such a wonderful atmosphere and makes me want to come here everyday.
New go to spot for sure. I recommend any of their noodle or curry dishes!

I've only been back to the US for 7 months after living in the Philippines for 13 months. I was thrilled to find out there was a true Filipino restaurant right here in Muncie, as I was truly missing the food!

I decided to bring my dad for lunch to try out some authentic Filipino food. He was not disappointed. He already knows what he wants to try the next time we visit!

The food was fantastic! My dad got the Tocino with fried rice and a sunny side up egg. He loved it. He said the Tocino practically melted in his mouth. I got the Tocino Bento Box, which included 3 pieces of Lumpia Shanghai, and Pancit Bihon/Canton. It really was very tasty!

The hard part for me was the price of the food. About $40 total. In the Philippines it would have been about $5-$6 (usd), but much smaller portions. What you have to realize though is, we ARE here in the USA. There's rent, salaries, and taxes to pay, which is a whole lot more than in the Philippines.

My dad and I were very happy with everything. I just can't wait for my Filipina wife to get here. She was thrilled when I told her about Baryo. Hopefully it won't be much longer!

Adorable place with great food and ambiance. Got the crispy pork belly and the Halo Halo. Pork belly was cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. Halo Halo was a great way to finish the meal out though the jackfruit can be a bit strong for some folks!

This is a great locally owned Filipino restaurant. I have waited along time for a Filipino to finally pop up. I can safely say they have not disappointed. Everything I’ve had thus far has been amazing. Do some culinary exploring and try some new spice to our local pallet.
